a Giant turtle(Said to require 300 Knight to defeat) So in the first Kaiju fight we see, 5 Knight vs. Shiloute Knight are basicly Magic mecha, they run on some kind of magic engine that take in mana from t h e world, so can in theory move forever, but the problem is, all movement will drain the Mana, and since there's no unified movement, every move drain mana faster then you can refill. Humanity rose to one of the advance race, not only through the Shiloutte Knight, but also harnessing Magic, mainly through using a magic gem as a catalyst, and casting spell, it is possible to cast high fantasy spell, but due to the limit of human mana, to cast spell that hurt Kaiju level monster, you need Shiloutte Knight to cast that kind of large spell. Their kingdom, is in the frontline of the human empire, also known as the Knight Kingdom, since they are fighting the monsters(From small, to human size to Kaiju size) The kingdom itself also has a school that offers class to every child in the kingdom, since to operate a Shiloutte Knight, you not only need a pilot, you also need a team to maintain it.Īnd also, the kingdom needs to be self sufficient, since they are in the front line, so having an educated citizen, with low poverty is considered a necessaty by the king, it's why he opened the school, and gave command of it to his former 2nd in command. In the magic world, humanity is a newer race that have only risen to prominance recently, mainly due to the Shiloutte Knight, which it's secret on how it's "engine" oprerate, only the King and a few of his advisor know.

Manga is getting the main idea of the serie pretty well, but missed a few point, mainly character background and world building.
